The goal of LBCHP’s Public Education and Targeted Outreach (PETO) campaign is to increase the number of women screened for breast and cervical cancers that have never or rarely (not within the last five years) been screened. In Fiscal Year 2012, 10% of screening mammograms and 19% of pap smears paid for with LBCHP funds were provided to women that were rarely or never screened. We aim to increase these numbers through providing public education that delivers clear and consistent messages about breast and cervical cancer screening.

The logic model used in development of the PETO campaign can be found here: [Add logic model from “PETO Logic Model.docx” in Basecamp – on second page.]
